Art Demonstration
Professional color pencil artist Philip Schorn will be demonstrating his art for guests Saturday, March 8 from 2-7:30 during our 2nd Saturday Art Event. Several renderings of Phil’s will be on display in the upper gallery for the evening and for sale. Phil is an accomplished instructor of color pencil and currently teaches for several studios and private lessons. Philip’s work has been featured in print and television. “My art is not just another drawing, it is a fine art. I focus on realism and to put in as much detail as possible. I want the viewer to see more than they thought was there. My process of using the color pencil requires patience, skill and the ability to see several steps ahead. I take what may be ordinary and make it extraordinary.”
