As a songwriter, poet, performing and healing artist, my artistic expression for the past 50 years has taken the form of spoken or sung words and music, but my recent experience of the Emergence series has inspired me to create and express in visual art mediums.
The primary mentors for most of my life have been trees – their seasonal growth, their ability to gracefully release, their lifelong pursuit of rooting and reaching continue to inspire my own growth.
